Maharashtra’s Industries, Investment & Services Policy 2025 contains targeted support for regional industrial development. Eligible ODOP enterprises can receive an additional incentive equal to 10% of Fixed Capital Investment in plant and machinery, subject to the policy’s overall cap. The policy also provides additional incentives for qualifying SC/ST-owned enterprises in Vidarbha and incentives for green technologies.

Under the Maharashtra Logistics Policy 2024, all 11 Vidarbha districts—Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim and Yavatmal—are classified as Zone 1. The policy provides fiscal and non-fiscal support intended to encourage logistics infrastructure and investment in priority regions.

The CMEGP is Maharashtra’s credit-linked programme for establishing micro and small enterprises in urban and rural areas. The current state booklet covers eligible projects with costs of up to ₹50 lakh, with applications and processing handled through the state’s online system and district-level implementing agencies.

Amravati is Maharashtra’s selected location under the Government of India’s PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) programme. As of August 2026, the Amravati brownfield park covers 1,327 acres, and the Ministry of Textiles reported around ₹12,000 crore of investment interest. The scheme is designed to bring different stages of the textile value chain into an integrated industrial ecosystem.

The Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme supports micro food-processing businesses through finance, training and formalisation. Individual units can receive a 35% credit-linked capital subsidy up to ₹10 lakh, while eligible groups can receive 35% support for common infrastructure, up to ₹3 crore. The scheme also follows the One District One Product (ODOP) approach.

Maharashtra’s Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 aims to expand decentralised solar power for agricultural feeders and provide daytime electricity to agricultural consumers. The state has increased its programme target to 16,000 MW, making it relevant to farmers, rural enterprises and the wider renewable-energy ecosystem.Â
