The objective of the forum is to increase awareness amongst Agro entrepreneurs about the scope in Agricultural and horticulture Sector, Agro Processing and Agri Business. Another key objective is increase rural employment opportunities for the poor.

The strategic objectives for the forum are to :

• Strengthen capacity and improve knowledge system within the Government, stakeholders, and especially small-scale farmers.

• Promote intensification, diversification and security of agricultural production;

• Promote sustainable natural resources management and conservation;

• Promote agricultural product processing and investment in agro-industries

• Strengthen agricultural marketing system and market access.
